In recent years, the beauty industry has grown exponentially, with new launches, collaborations, and celebrity lines coming at us in rapid succession. Every casual scroll through your Instagram feed presents you with new beauty products, and don't even get us started on all those targeted ads you never asked to see. However, March 2021 isn't like any other month, as we are still very much dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. As vaccines are being administered in rapid succession, this month, the UK government is slowly easing lockdown restrictions, with schools reopening on 8 March, the "stay at home" order lifted on 29 March, and nonessential shops set to reopen next month on 12 April. And whilst there are people who will be eagerly planning their reentry back into society, there are others who may find rushing out to buy beauty products — even online — not feasible at the moment, and that's completely understandable.
